Sample Of A Church Programe

a parabolic solar cooker + oven

This summer I made a homemade solar cooker ... good home.
is a parable in a fraction of stainless steel with an area of \u200b\u200b1.4 m2 sunlight reflecting an insulated oven through the glass base that lets accumulated through a trap heat (greenhouse effect).
The kitchen is the height of a conventional countertop oven has 80cm wide which allows the heat source moves into the oven without having to accommodate the kitchen can often cook several meals at once.
surface of 1.4 m2 dish to cook in time to fire even in winter.

Al model lacks a lot but these are some of the rights and wrongs in this phase.

Hits:
have achieved the main objective, functions as a conventional stove. where the focus is fire cooking time (it takes just as if it were on fire from a burner)
is intended to have a stove and oven space for two pizzas,
to have a heat trap, if clouds are continuously cooking food gently.
is possible to cook even when the incidence angle of the sun is low in winter.

Things to improve:
is quite large and could be much lighter, not resolved completely the problem of glare, can be much more economical (cost about 80 dollars) must be protected if the weather keeps the conventional glass used in the early tests pit by the intensity of heat, which requires tempered glass.

This first stage was a functional prototype that I have not worked with design or thought in the same constructive way, if mass-produced.

Public
my experience to inspire others to think better solutions to the same problem.

We can save many trees, save a lot of energy and cook many foods rich!
