Data Interpretation Doubles CrB ... (I)

This time
I present the photos and measurements of some of the pairs listed by the great Struve in the constellation Corona Borealis, which were made during the month of June 2009. With the constellation
almost at the zenith, the team collimated ... (finally), a more acceptable than seeing a temperature between the beginning and end of the night ranged from 21.6 º C to 21.1 º C and relative humidity was maintained around 80% throughout the session, the night was almost perfect.
in a row, I was able to do all the double takes I had planned.
Also at that meeting I tried to verify the limit of separation equipment, with the usual configuration. So I did STF 2011 footage to try to unfold and measure its components, which are at a distance of approximately 2.7 ".
As you will later ...

A GREAT SUCCESS!

begin with measures for these beautiful pairs.

At first I was pleasantly surprised to separate without much trouble the pair STF 2011. Although he was as far as possible to the focal length of more than 3 meters is to attach the flip mirror to the optical train. As I had not fallen is that with the QHY-5 .. . had managed to capture 13.4-magnitude star!
But the surprises did not end here, even got to measure another pair even more closed ... STF
It is 1959, a couple dificilillo, with components of magnitudes 9.79 and 10.8 of spectral type F8 and according to the latest WDS in 2001 had an angle of 244 º and separation 2.1 ".

Now I think, and if this is the limit of resolution of my own usual primary focus. Even calibrated with darks takes 3 sec., stacking images and making use of functions and Surface QuadPx.
Anyway I am very pleased with the performance of the team, which currently exceeds all my expectations.
As the resolution of this optical configuration is concerned, now I know that the limit of separation is around 2.1 "and that the maximum magnitude of the double that I can measure (provided they are sufficiently far apart) is about the size 13.5

Not bad, for the modest of the camera.
If you told me on the friend Benavides, that this little camera would give me great satisfaction.
